Go! Fight! Win!

On Saturday, Sara and Roger spent a lovely day driving to and from Pullman only to watch the absolutely worst football game ever - 69-0; and USC was being merciful!

While Mom and Dad were in misery, Hilary and Tori attended the Kamiakin High School Dance Team's Spirit Camp. They had tons of fun, learned a dance, and a cheer or two. Roger's worst nightmare might just be coming true - his little girls are turning into cheerleaders!!

We got home in time to see the girls perform their cheer and dance at halftime of Kamiakin's football game on Saturday night. It was so fun to watch!

We're back!!

What an amazing weekend we had at the Oregon coast! The weather couldn't have been better. We had a wonderful time with our friends the Barringtons. Roger and Carlos took the kids on hikes, Stacey and I got in some shopping, and we all spent lots of time at the beach. Hilary could not stay out of the water and Tori couldn't stay out of the sand! Even the dogs had a great time running on the beach. As usual, we all came home relaxed but not too rested. I really do think that Neskowin, Oregon is the most wonderful place on earth!!

Hungry anyone!

On Wednesday, Tori and I went on a field trip with her preschool class to a local farm where were able to pick as many vegetables as we could carry, and Tori did just that! She picked as many as both she and I could carry. I guess we'll be having Mommy's homemade veggie chili this week!
Check out those carrots she picked!!

What a weekend!

It's been one crazy fun-filled weekend and thankfully we all survived it. Friday night, we all went to a birthday party for Hilary's friend, Peyton. Then on Saturday, Roger went fishing with some buddies. He didn't catch anything and fortunately, didn't get blown off the river. The girls had a blast at the Southridge Dance Camp while Sara spent the day trying to be creative at a friend's house. Happy World Cardmaking Day!! Today was the St. Joseph's Fun Run. Tori ran 28 laps!! Woohoo! It was our family's last Fun Run and was a little bittersweet for Mom. Oh well. We must move on.

The coming week doesn't look much better but will end with a trip to the Oregon Coast, our family's favorite place on earth (after Disneyland, of course!). It will be even better as our good friends the Barringtons will be joining us. I will post pictures of all our fun when we return!
